Stacy has been at the Neil Klatskin Day Camp since 1994 and has been the camp director since 2006. She has a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY at Albany and a M.S. in Education from Adelphi University. Stacy has taught pre-k and kindergarten in the Leonard and Syril Rubin Nursery School at the JCC and teaches Mah Jongg at the JCC as well. She has been in camping most of her life as a camper, counselor, head counselor and administrator and is an active board member of the Alumni Association for the camp that she attended as a child. “It has been my pleasure to be at the Neil Klatskin Day camp for so many years. Seeing the children laughing and playing, learning new skills, making new friends and enjoying their summers here has been so rewarding. I have always loved camp and couldn’t think of better place to be than here at NKDC.”
Melissa has been a member of the Neil Klatskin Day Camp team since 1998. She started as the Transportation Coordinator and is now the Assistant Director. Melissa has been a part of the JCC family in many other capacities as well. She served as the Assistant Children’s Services Director, Children’s Services Director, Assistant Games Director for the 2003 JCC Maccabi Games and the 2004 Delegation Head for the Kaplen Team Palisades.
